The Viet Nam Logistics Forum (VLF) 2025 in Da Nang city
The Viet Nam Logistics Forum 2025, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Da Nang City People's Committee over two days, November 28-29, 2025, in Da Nang City with the theme "Viet Nam Logistics - Rising into the New Era
The Viet Nam Logistics Forum (VLF) is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with local authorities, and has been held regularly since 2013. The Forum aims to promote the comprehensive development of Viet Nam's logistics service sector, strengthen the linkage between logistics and production, import-export activities, and create a platform for policy dialogue among government authorities, domestic and international businesses, and industry associations. Over the course of 12 editions, the Forum has become a prestigious national-level event, attracting the attention and participation of senior government leaders, ministries, sectors, localities, and the business community, thereby contributing to the promotion of logistics investment in the host region and locality.
In 2025, Viet Nam's logistics service sector faces numerous challenges and new requirements in the context of continued global instability: escalating geopolitical tensions, prolonged Russia-Ukraine military conflict, ongoing Middle East conflicts, and the United States' tariff policies significantly impacting international trade. Alongside this is the wave of supply chain shifts, requirements for green and sustainable logistics development, and the explosion of cross-border e-commerce - both opening opportunities and creating significant competitive pressure for Vietnamese businesses. Domestically, 2025 is a crucial time for ministries, sectors, and localities to complete the goals set out in Decision No. 221/QD-TTg dated February 22, 2011, of the Prime Minister amending and supplementing Decision No. 200/QD-TTg dated February 14, 2017, on approving the Action Plan to enhance competitiveness and develop Viet Nam's logistics services until 2025, while implementing the Viet Nam Logistics Service Development Strategy for the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2050, just signed by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on October 9, 2025. Particularly, the transition to a two-tier local government organization model, along with the government's strong administrative reform, decentralization, and delegation policies, private economic development, and strong application of science and technology in logistics management and operation are opening a new transformation phase, requiring close coordination between central and local levels, between public and private sectors.
In the above context, the Viet Nam Logistics Forum 2025, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Da Nang City People's Committee over two days, November 28-29, 2025, in Da Nang City with the theme "Viet Nam Logistics - Rising into the New Era," clearly demonstrates the determination and strategic vision to make Viet Nam's logistics breakthrough, adapt strongly, and play a central role in enhancing the economy's competitiveness in the new development phase.
